An ecumenical Board of Directors oversees all Racine Habitat activities. Board members represent a broad spectrum of our community.

committees Five standing committees do much of the work.
  • Family Selection and Nurture: Holds orientation meetings for prospective families, interviews and recommends eligible families and keeps in touch with new Habitat homeowners.
  • Finance: Secures necessary operating funds and coordinates fund-raising activities.
  • Volunteer Coordination: Recruits and maintains contact with volunteers.
  • Site Selection: Selects appropriate sites for building and rehabilitation.
  • Public Relations: Speaks to clubs, organizations, and church groups; develops brochures and newsletters; and plans House Blessings.
