Become A Volunteer

Volunteers work Monday through Saturday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to noon and Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. We have volunteers of all ages, starting at age 16. Many have been with us since we began in 1988. Racine Habitat has groups from high schools and colleges who volunteer to help build homes. We also have groups from corporations, churches, and civic groups coming together to help in the Habitat mission. At least 400 volunteers help out each year.

Donate

Financial support is always needed from individuals, local businesses, corporations, churches, private foundations, and civic organizations. Donations are tax deductible.
Credit card donations are also accepted.

Giving appreciated stock to Racine Habitat is a wonderful way to maximize your generosity, minimize capital gains taxes, and help us continue to build houses for people in need of decent housing.

Memorial and Honor Gifts

As you plan special remembrances for family and friends this year, consider the gift that keeps on giving - the gift of affordable, decent housing. Remember or honor a friend, family member, co-worker, or loved one by a donation to Racine Habitat. In return, we will send that person or his/her family a letter indicating that you have made such a contribution in their name or their loved one's name. We also accept donations as a remembrance of a special event.
